2pm on a school day seems like a weird time. Must have been something else scheduled at Ames on Friday night? I wonder how many fans will be in attendance for that one.

2pm is strange, I know from this fall when we had some weather issues in football game times on Saturday were determined by when referees were available in many cases.

North Shore at Duluth Marshall in Section 7A postponed until 3:30 PM Friday. Game is at MARS Arena, it incorrectly says Heritage Arena above.

2pm start may have something to do with the start for the semifinals on Saturday, ie 2pm in Rochester and wanting the skaters to "rest" the legs a bit more that if they played at 7pm........ no facts here just a guess....

Downtown St Paul area went from rain/sleet to snow in the last 30 minutes...it's going to be a messy messy commute for any teams and fans that have to get around tonight

All High School After School Activities in 196 are Cancelled on Thursday, Feb 20. No students should be inside EHS after 2:45pm today!

PLEASE NOTE---Boys Section Hockey is currently still on tonight. This decision is determined under the MSHSL.

So the schools didn't have a say on whether they had to travel in this mess or not?

That can't be true. I remember in '09 when every 2AA playoff game was played except the 4/5 Burnsville vs. Chaska. Burnsville wanted to play, Chaska refused to because of travel. They played it the next day. Burnsville won, had to then play Jefferson the next day. Played 0-0 after 1 period; had no legs the rest of the game & Jefferson ran them out of Braemar the last two periods.

Still think Burnsville should run up the score every time they play Chaska from now on.

According to mshls.org, all 5A Quarterfinals games are rescheduled for Tomorrow at varying times.

Tonka vs Holy Family game will be played as scheduled.

Hibbing at Denfeld moved to tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. at Heritage

Eveleth at Virginia moved to tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Miner's

After one period AHA 0 JHS 0, shots JHS 14 AHA 8.

May be scheduling at 2pm to avoid conflict for fans wanting to go to both... Yes the North girls had not won quarters when this was rescheduled but highly ranked and were being optimistic! And they did win...
