Um, the record this season is BSM 5-2, EP 6-5 and EP 5-2 so EP won once by a good margin, BSM once by a good margin and EP once in a close one. EP should be favored, but then so was Wayzata.

I thought Wayzata would walk away with the game yesterday, but I was wrong. No idea how these two groups of high school students will react on the big sheet at Mariucci. Should be fun either way.

If EP comes in thinking defense first, I will give them the edge....if they come in and try to outgun Benilde, they will lose by atleast 4.....there is a reason that Benilde beat Wayzata....that being they have a game plan.

Naas vs. Spinner battle of speed on the big sheet should be fun to watch.

I saw BSM play 4 times this year. Saturday's game vs. Wayzata was the best I'd seen them play by far. If they play like they did against Wayzata they will beat EP by 2-3 goals. Goalie and D played so well.

In another post it said two Wayzata kids scored both goals against Wayzata so are there any Eden Prairie kids on the Benilde team?

Anyone have the breakdown of where the Benilde players played their association hockey?

BSM wins 3-1 in a great game.

If BSM can limit the odd-man rushes against, which has been the team's downfall at times this year, I give the edge to Pauly and the Red Knights. 4-2 with Roo adding the empty netter.

Will Duda, I believe, is the only one originally from EP.

Most of the players look to be from Edina, Wayzata and Mpls and I would guess Edina would be the most. I believe the goalie is Rosemount. One is from Maple Grove and then the EP player. A couple played Fire also. Mostly Edina and Wayzata.

Excuse me, sir, but they are all from the great city of Farmington. Should have stayed in the hometown... would have made a run at the title....

Maybe, but Zach Parise and Jamie Van Rimesdyk live in Delano. Oops, I mean Orono.

Real shame what happened to the Tigers with their top guys leaving Freshman year, could've been a power in section 1AA. Heard that Avery Peterson played mites, and squirts their too before packing up and heading to Rapids. Not sure if this ones true or not but I heard Andrew Sprang took classes their for a few weeks before landing at Benilde last year.

EP and BSM are decent teams... id take the Tigers of Farmington over both of them 56.8% of the time... Geaux Tigers!
