I disagree with Wahlin as Naas or Slattery have proven more steady in stiffer competition.

Like the D picks, but that's a hard one...lots of great defensemen this year, not sure on Nanne as a pick...?

Goalies, surely not Ahrens or Berglove, neither have won many close games. Ahrens doesn't see the shots Lindren and Driscoll do, and they make not so great teams pretty good. Martens from Jefferson and Rasmussen could get HM's as well...

Your talking about Rassmussen from Holy Family..?? For all-metro??? If any Goalie from HF was chosen it would be LaCombe, hands down - the kid got absolutely bombarded with shots in the tough games pulled out some nice wins..He averaged 30+ shots per game - 5 games with 40+. 1 game with 50+.

The Strib does the All-Metro so a lot of times it is swayed heavily towards the West Metro just like the Pioneer Press all state team is usually heavy on east metro.

I think Spinner will for sure be a forward on 1st team and the 2 D I see are Snuggerud and Nanne. Goalie will likely be Berglove, Driscoll is deserving as well. Other forwards on 1st team could be any of following: Wahlin, Novak, Boeser, Slattery.

Driscoll
Nanne Snugs
Boeser Novak Wahlin

That would be my best guess. Many more deserving.

I would agree - Not sure how the backup goalie for HF would be considered over LaCombe - 2nd goalie only played in non-factor games - probably only saw a total of 20 quality shots total all year against the likes of Waconia, Dassel, Delano - that does not make for an all metro goalie. HF would have been better served staying in 1A - probably would have been at the big show this year against the Hermantowns and Brecks of the world -- Just MHO. Not sure how skilled the underclassmen are flowing in for HF - but I suspect this was their bubble chance given the current Sr. class names. Loss of Gersich did not help either.

I don't think Oja gets selected simply because its Delanohockey. Sorry.

Nor does Nanne get moved up to forward or BSM's 4th or 5th best d-man make all metro.
