Nope... Don't think I have what it takes. I'm not quite crazy enough. Well, that's what the voices in my head keep telling me at any rate. My kid, however, may say otherwise

They've been trying to get this off the ground for quite a while, I think. I got an email nearly a year ago about it.

I think if you do this, you're dumb. Reality TV producers are known to make stuff up and manufacture drama. If your child has any shot of going anywhere, you would blow it by doing this show. Everyone knows parents are a factor in choosing players for teams, and no one wants the cray cray ones!
Besides, what's in it for the mom's and the players? Being on TV isn't going to help them with anything unless they want to quit hockey for an acting career.

Let's not forget the TV camera adds another 10lbs to any woman's physique. Screw the kids hockey career and any compensation for doing the show. That alone would be a deal breaker for most of us chicks.

My son played in a Spring tournament with a boy from Long Island 4 or 5 years ago. The following week their episode of Wife Swap aired. The totally-in-to-it hockey family was paired with some pretty strange Gothic parents whose father was in to dance. "Male dancers are GOLD!"
Entertaining, if nothing else.

Thank you boys, you proved my point. No matter area we hockey moms are from; we all tend to think the same way. BTW you are both wrong on the area (insert buzzer here) but thanks for playing
