Eastview verse Rosemount, is always a big rivalry but it is cooling down. When eastview was opened it took alot of kids that would of gone to rosemount and put them in EV and leaving rosemount with not much talent. This rivalry is not only big in hockey but most of the guys sports.

RBK

yea i was just about to post about that as well, thats a good rivalry because av and ev seem to split the series but EV edges them in sections.

Edited by: <A HREF=

That brings up an interesting point that they made on TV, everytime they seem to build some sort of section rivalry they have to change. Moorhead in 8AA, East in 7AA, Osseo in 4AA... hopefully ER gets to stick around and continue one of those for awhile.

<img src=

I would definitly say the best rivalry in the northwest suburban is Anoka vs. the Elks its always a good game no matter how overmatched one is. By the way who ever said that the lake is the toughest confrence needs to double check because im pretty sure in the last 5 years the state champs have come from the nw suburban with the elks in 2001 anoka 2003 cenntennial in 2004 oh andi almost forgot blaine also in 2000 so 4 out of the last 6 have come from the northwest suburban. there is no such thing is a free pass in this confrence its the real deal
