Jake has put on Twitter that he is verbally committing to play for Mankato. Congrats to him, after an average spring he is lighting up the elite league and is poised for a big senior season at Elk River. I'm sure he will complete the entire season with his teammates.

If this is accurate, this is a great pickup for the mavs. This kid is special!
You don't just make the Elite League look mediocre unless you're a notch significantly above.

Hastings is a hell of a coach. A lot of SCSU fans lobbied for him over Motzko back when Dahl's days were numbered. Couldn't have gone wrong either way. Both are fantastic coaches.

Congrats to a great hockey player. Very well deserved. Will be a great college player as well
