Oh man! Can't wait for the barnburner between Sibley and Como. Should be a real treat. I know its HS and all these schools want to field a team, but really? A lot of these teams would get worked by top Bantam AA teams.

thursday game to watch is Lvn and PL, but I wonder if Harris and Hanson are healthy?

Yes a lot of high schools would get worked by top bantam teams (such as Highland Park, Ely or Worthington etc.), but Sibley and Como have a little more credibility than that. Is this a game that many people care about? No. Do these two teams strike any fear of competition into top 1A teams around the state such as Hermantown, Breck, Duluth Marshall, or even section competitor Mahtomedi? Absolutely not! But they still deserve the right to play hockey Sats.

Whats your prediction? (whether they play or not)....

Should be a 3+ goal win for north, but if all players are healthy and Scites has a good night then you never know. Scites stats show he can be hot even against ranked teams. As for the PL coaching strategy, havent seen enough of them to know how he will approach the game with odds stacked against him.

Alexandria at Willmar is postponed due to weather.

LN 7-4 final over PL. Looked like LN was gonna put PL into running time as they went up 3-0 in first 5 mins. LN played worst game of yr IMO. This PL team is going nowhere. Very overrated. Sorry.

Not an encouraging performance by Spring Lake Park against Totino tonight in a 5-2 loss. Was hoping this would be the year they could get that monkey off their back.

At this point, I'm not even sure I could guess section 5AA top seeding...what a mess.

Anoka beats MG today, they've also beat Blaine, but they've been beat by Centennial and...Rogers
Centennial loses to both MG and Blaine, but beat Anoka.
MG beats Blaine and Centennial, but the loss to Anoka


Talk about parity. Looks like a lot of the seeding for the top 4 will have to come down to their 2nd reg season NWSC match-ups. I'd say there is no doubt this section will go unseeded at State at this point.
