Why is the Canadian crowd BOOing Jack Johnson of Team USA? He's being treated like Todd Bertuzzi.

I loved the quote by his coach when asked about Johnson and the hit behind the play:

"I'd rather try to tame a tiger than paint stripes on one."

I may be going on quite a limb here but if i remember right wasn't Jack Johnson born in Canada but his dad was from the US and mom from Canada or vis versa and when it came down to it he had a choice and chose team USA rather than Canada i could be right or wrong on this so don't exactly qoute me..

I don't think thats why they are booing him...

The reason for the booing is because he clubbed a canadian player in the nose.
2A

So does this Jack Johnson character have a bad reputation? Maybe not bad, but does he have a reputation of being a tough defenseman that doesn’t take crap from no one?

hes a good skater, i watched him last night get beat by the sioux in the first round of playoffs. I remeber watching him skate at SSM, he was a stand out then too.
