I think the two dumbest names are easily the Thunderhawks and the Blaze. Note that both of those two are new names given because you can't call your team the Indians or the Braves anymore. <p></p><i></i>

I don't know whether this counts. AHA is now the "Stars". Back when I was in high school (mid 70's) they were called the "Co-Stars". What the hell did that mean? <p></p><i></i>

I think Spuds is a sweet name i mean come on when you hear Spuds you dont forget it Moorhead should be proud of it it is unique and cool I always loved watching the great Moorhead teams play and hear those famous words from the PA Anouncer " Now Let's Meet The Spuds" it is great. And I think Either the Spartans of Orono or the Magic of Monitcello are the worst and I rate the spuds as one of the best but it is just my opioin. <p></p><i></i>

To add to the STARS name. I was a Co*star, and the only way that we could describe it was "that it was something that you put a hot Tscholl on". No you should be really mixed up. I was glad that they changed the name. Every year I was there we tried to change the name to something better like the AHA Devils, or I had a friend who wanted the Holy Angels Pagans. Didn't fly. The symbol for the Co*stars was an angel.<br> <p></p><i></i>

I remember something else about Holy Angels, they used to have a button with a hockey player on it and it said -- Academy of the HOLY ANGELS - don't let the good name fool you. It was back in the Co-Star days.
