The words don't always come easily for Ben, but sometimes he comes up with his own spin on a word or a saying.

I thought he had invented this word during the broadcast today...evidently not.

From the urban dictionary:

effectivity

An idiotic modern word that has crept out of technical use in game theory to compete in pseudo-intellectual discourse with the real English word satisfying the same part of speech (effectiveness), which should be used instead in almost every case. Not to be confused with efficacy, which actually has a different meaning.

The effectivity of the word "effectivity" is nonexistent.

Apparently someone has to fill Phil Housley's noble role in garbling things all through the Tourney.

Anytime I'm in the mood for a good laugh I go back and read through the Housley threads. Just great humor!

He seems to have a strange fascination for Wickets. But I'm waiting for his savvy quote, "You can't give a good player a bad pass." I know it's only two games into the tournament, but I know it is coming.

I trust he wont disappoint me.

"Dixon Bowen's one weakness has been his skating" Bowen might have been the best skater in the state last year. He could have simply stated that Bowen focused on becoming an even stronger skater... If anyone could look at Bowen last year or this and identify skating has ever been a problem, you are seeing something I'm not.

Watching the game on DVR last night, one of the announcers was all over the EGF girls team winning against Blake this year. Uh no.
