How far the coverage has fallen! This was the coverage back in 1982. Google TC media 1982 Minnesota high school hockey.

That's great: thanks for posting

I especially loved the "high-tech" board that showcased the brackets

And 45 couple learn a thing or two from that broadcast:

I enjoyed the detailed coverage of all the section finals. It would be nice to see that in 45's coverage before the games.

Anyone else remember Frank Buetel, black and white broadcast and the hazy St. Paul Auditorium? The first broadcast I remember was St. Paul Johnson beating International Falls in OT in the championship game in 1963 (I think).

Burnsville, Bloomington Lincoln, SSP, Sibley = Cooperalls ... trendsetters

Love the section finals at Met Center and St Paul Auditorium.

Frank Buetel !!

Yes, a couple weeks ago, I posted this link to Frank calling the 3rd period of the undefeated 1974 Edina East comeback in the semi's vs Sibley.

We were down 2-0 going into the 3rd period and Sibley scored again to make it 3-0, then with about 9 minutes left in the game, we scored 5 goals in 6 minutes to win 5-3.

Even Frank was stunned as well as us and everyone in the Met Center!!
