Is anyone else attending/paying attention to this tourney? I was definitely surprised by the rosters, but the real surprise (sorry participants) was how bored I was. Maybe I'm just spoiled coming off the games last week?? And I would bet my paycheck today that there was not a single scout in the building. (Except maybe Revolution.)

This tournament has had a hard time attracting players so they actually reduced the teams this year by combining age groups.
Last year they had a group of just sophomores. it was a mixture of varsity sophomores and rounded out with JV sophomores. Its just another weekend of hockey for those that want to play. nothing special on the talent end, but if a kid gets to play another few games more power to them.

I actually think there is a lot of high end talent; especially on west. There are a lot of underrated kids
