Some parents from around the rinks at the games, saying this year's BEL players are much stronger than last year, more of them will play 1-2 lines at high school this season ...
True or not?

It's a deeper group than last year, IMO. That said, about the same level of top end talent. There are a few VERY good late 00s and early 01s in this year's group which should garner some scouting. With the trend toward early commitments, I wouldn't be surprised to see several kids from this group commit this winter.
As for more kids from this group playing high school varsity -- that's probably more of an indication of where those programs are at in terms of their overall depth than anything else. Playing varsity as a 9th grader is an accomplishment worth noting, however, even at a smaller program. Some kids never get to play varsity.
Good luck to the boys, and hoping they make it through without any injuries that might set them back for the upcoming season.

The outstate kids looked great at this mornings games. Duluth/Clqt/Herm and EGF/Bem/Ros teams holding their Metro opponents to 1 goal each. The possession time imbalance was ridiculous, especially by the Duluth/Clqt/Herm team in their win.

District 11 bantams should be fun to watch this year. It will be interesting to see what, if any, of these fine Bantam players move up to high school this coming hockey season.
