All right Thursday is the big match in H-Town. Who wins? Hawks or Blue Jackets? Should be a great game. I'll l take the Hawks in a close one 5-4!!

I will be there. I'll do my best to give timely updates. Sadly, I can't get there until almost game time so my view of the ice will likely be crappy.elliott70 wrote:Any board members going to be there?
We will need updates....

That makes sense, given 40% of the Hermantown players are from Hermantown.pekyman wrote:Yes it actually can. 40% of Hermantown is at this game.

I love how you like to gloat peky. It's not enough for you that Hermantown Academy sandbags in A so they can pile up trophies, you get to gloat when you beat up on A teams too.pekyman wrote:3,842rainier wrote:That makes sense, given 40% of the Hermantown players are from Hermantown.pekyman wrote:Yes it actually can. 40% of Hermantown is at this game.
Haha good one.
Get that summer program going yet?
First of all Hermantown is a small school class A team not an academy as you suggest.rainier wrote:I love how you like to gloat peky. Must be nice. I'll refer you to what Sats said about your program; it's pretty much how the entire state feels.
Congrats to the Hermantown players. They are a talented, hard-working bunch of kids.
I see only one guy who can't handle the truth about his teampekyman wrote:First of all Hermantown is a small school class A team not an academy as you suggest.rainier wrote:I love how you like to gloat peky. Secondly, you were the one that made the BS comment that 40 % of the kids are from Hermantown.
Thirdly, Asking you about your summer program is gloating?
Your good at dishing it out but you can't handle the truth.
You want to talk about truth? How many kids on the team are open enrollees? I think Froggy pointed out 5 or 6. Aamodt, Judnick, Samberg, Gotz, Watkins, etc. I think he and Jeffy95 also pointed out your Squirt AA team is half open enrollees.pekyman wrote:First of all Hermantown is a small school class A team not an academy as you suggest.rainier wrote:I love how you like to gloat peky. Why would it he send it to USA hockey? What a waste of H'Town assoc letterhead by the way.rainier wrote:You want to talk about truth? How many kids on the team are open enrollees? And I had a Hibbing dad tell me his kid got a letter from the Hermantown Youth Association urging him to come to Hermantown. (He made a copy of the letter and sent it to USA Hockey.) Is this how you get the kids from around the area to come there? Does the youth association do the dirty work so all the Proctor/Denfeld/Virginia/Hibbing kids are in place before the step down to A in high school happens?
I remember when everyone rooted for Hermantown at state. This year, I think people will actually be rooting for Breck should the two meet for the title. That should embarrass you.
The kids on your team are talented and hard-working, regardless of where they came from. I think the most shameful part of the Hermantown Academy farce is that these kids would be the #1 seed in 7AA and they would be the darlings of the AA tournament, with 95% of the state rooting for them. Instead, they will head down to St. Paul and everyone will boo them and whatever they do down there will essentially mean nothing to 99.9% of hockey fans in the state. Those kids are being robbed of a chance to do something really great, and it's sad.
But hey, it allows you to gloat, so I guess it's all worth it, right?
And as far as that summer program, I'll get working on that as soon as I get 150,000 people to move to within ten minutes of Hibbing, which would put us on equal footing with Hermantown Academy.
