I'm predicting the ghost of Sats will haunt us when North wins another state championship

Their coach wanted this so he could play in some Alumni game that night.

Maybe Mike wanted this so he could fly down to Omaha and watch Jake play against Jan Brady State.

Elk River coach Gordie Roberts is playing in the North Stars alumni game tomorrow at 4PM at TCF Bank Stadium. Several months ago he requested that if the Elks made it to the semi-finals that their game be played at Noon, regardless of seeding, so he could make it to the alumni game.

The games in Rochester are at the Rec Center, if you go the Civic Center you will be at the section 1 wrestling tournament. The Rec Center is undergoing a massive construction project, parking is very limited....maybe 300 spots on site. John Marshall draws very well so be prepared for a parking nightmare.

Parking is always a pain there anyway, at least if you're arriving for the second game in a session... construction just making it worse.

Not to take the subject too far off topic, but I saw a roster get sent out today and Giles seems to have withdrawn from the alumni game since Edina is playing around the same time.

Good for him Green person. After Edina wins he can head to the Bank and be a late addition. Smart move as I saw he wasn't on roster as well, and I imagine there is really no rules for the alumni game. Go Edina, Go STMA, Go New Ulm, Go Denfield.
