Not sure what your list includes but lots of kids missing......Langenbrunner, Frisch, Bayless etc. if it's only high school players selected than Isaac Howe should be removed as he's a bantam AA player.

This is phase II list, the players you mention were drafted in Phase I (futures draft).

1st pick Matt Hellickson USA Under 18 Team formerly Rogers HS to Sioux City

He was US Team now drafted to USHL, what does that mean ? Do they think he's not ready for college ?

It means Notre Dame probably wants him to play a year of juniors. He was not great at the NTDP. The year would help.

He was US Team now drafted to USHL

Not entirely uncommon although not seeing any others drafted from the NTDP this year. Kyle Osterberg did the same before going to UMD.

It is rare because others that may play a year in the USHL after the NTDP have often been drafted previously. So when it comes to the draft after their last NTDP season, if they won't be going to college right away and haven't been drafted it's usually a no brainer high pick.
