New Marshall Arena

One part of hockey I really enjoy is seeing all the different arenas. WCCO did a feature on the new arena in Marshall for their Best of Minnesota series. Gotta say I might drive over there in late February just to see it. Only thing I don't like is the wall behind the benches with no seating. Kind of an eye sore, in an otherwise nicely designed state of the art facility.

Yes, we have been enjoying games in the new Red Baron arena. I was dismayed by the Big Wall, but you need to realize that there is a large greensward on the other side, and it wouldn't take much to expand that out into seating in the future. You know, when Marshall begins to challenge the state's best? Like in 2050.
Marshall home games can be seen on youtube at "Marsh Sports Live". They have a great set of cameras around the main rink and switch around during the game. Good way to watch Marshall lose on frigid nights.
