Lakeville north beat Maplegrove seven to five. Panthers outshot Crimson two to one. Lakeville north has many high-end players and has size advantage over most teams, but they allowed too many goals today so that remains a question mark. Huff was impressive today for MG as usual, but Kelly and rest of Maplegrove defense needs to better slow down the rush at the blue line, and also keep the low slot clear of traffic. The best team won today, and thought both were approximately fairly ranked , although I could see Maplegrove improving enough to make things interesting for Centennial at the end of the season

Appreciate input from anyone at the HF/MH game, or who saw the YHH stream.

From the Hub data, it looked like SOGS were about even. And it looked like Matt Anderson was back.

Did Jared Moe just have a bad nite to let 6 in, normally he is one of the best in the state. Or did his top caliber D corp just fail him, and let a lot of quality scoring opportunities occur?

On the flip side, Moorhead goalie must have been hot and Dmen must have played great! Plus some good snipes by Oconnell.

Not an entirely surprising upset...

An uneventful first period Of hockey here as prior Lake and Moorhead are scoreless after one, with shots 8–6

Lakers controlled most of the action in the second. Shots are 21–10 in favor of the Lakers, Junior Lance Leonard is standing tall In net for Moorhead. Cole O'Connell had a couple good opportunities for the spuds but was rejected

Spuds control action in the third. And now lead in shots 27–25 ,as sophomore Cade Kujawski Stands tall in goal for the Lakers in the 3rd. But Chase Gackle scores a nice power-play good for Lakers, and lakers go on to win 1-0. (Cole o O'Connell hit pipe with five seconds left )

It's not a conspiracy...we simply choose which games we think the most people will watch. ER is #2 in state, they had 2 tough opponents.
