Shots after 2 anyone? Sounds as if the ice might be slanted towards Begley. Big kill for cadets

Listened to STA-Hill, caught the end of WBL-Edina on the Horn. (Or what I could, at least, when the ladies in front of the camera weren't standing up).
The Metro East game started slow, and for spells in the 2nd and 3rd Hill seemed like they were often just holding on for dear life, but found a way to win. Begley was big, and they get just enough offense. It's not the most skilled Hill team in recent memory, but its strength in back reminds me of some other Hill teams that have overachieved over the years.
As for the Edina result, this is why I didn't put them at #2 this week.

In all seriousness, though, solid result for the Bears. Good night for 4AA in general.

This is how hill will need to win most games against good competition. Begley and the D can carry them. How far? Pretty far I think.
And if their scorers can continue to gel and develop as I expect they will, I smell a section upset and it might not turn out to be that much of an upset

Hermantown beats SCC 7-1.. shots were 30-20 but at times play seemed more lopsided than that. Cathedral had a few to chances to keep this close but the Hawks buried everything early.. doesn't seem like hermantown will have a real test until the Class A final.
