You can tell I'm an old geezer when I immediately noticed that Roseau/Warroad wasn't on the Games of the Day.

I thought it would be an automatic, fact is I have very little interest.

It is s till a great rivalry, for them, but for the rest of us its not who rules the roost in MN or even northern MN.
AA & A has something to do with it, but more so the shift in where the top teams are coming from and that 'interesting things are happening elsewhere (3A for example or the competitiveness of 6A).

The rivalry has lost some of its luster. It is still bragging rights in Roseau County but unfortunately means little else. Warroad has had some struggles this year, but it would be a jump start for their second half if they could knock off a pretty decent Roseau team. Roseau's big game of the week is Saturday, but the Rams don't want to lose any momentum with a loss to Warroad. My guess is the Rams will some day be back in 8A and this rivalry will revive itself.

Roso wins tonight by 5/4 to 1

Saturday with Mikey coming to town I have Roso by 1 or maybe a tie.

West Metro will almost be all the way out of the furthest reach of the South Metro tonite, at Hasse Arena for North at South, havent been down there since the Justin Kloos era when they hosted the Hounds....

John Marshall beat Century 5-4, take away the JM band and I don't think both student sections combined totaled 80 kids, these two schools probably have 3000 kids combined.
