1 EGF - Beat Park Rapids (PR), Crookston (C), Warroad (W), Kittson (K) and Lake of the Woods (LOW0
no losses
still play C W twice with Thief River Falls (TRF
Must beat TRF once to hold spot.
2 Thief River Falls - Beat W C PR
still play EGF (2), K, W C Red Lake Falls (RLF)
Must beat EGF to over take them.
3 Warroad - Beat Detroit Lakes (DL), C (also beat Virginia which Northern Lakes lost)
Lost to EGF & TRF
still play TRF PR EGF C LOW
Must beat EGF or TRF to move up.
4 could be Northern Lakes beat Bagley, PR, Kittson. No section losses.
still play Kittson LOW DL and Bagley
must win all these to hold but could still fall to 5
5 LOW - beat Bagley(2), PR, Kittson, RLF
lost to EGF in close game. Lost to Proctor and Ely to bring them down a bit.
still play RLF, DL, PR, NL, Kittson, Crookston and Warroad.
If they beat these teams (except Warroad) they should get 4, beat Warroad they should get 3.
Lose 1 other than Warroad they may end up in 6.
6 Detroit Lakes - beat Crookston
lost to Warroad and Park Rapids
to play still LOW No Lakes (2) PR
obviously big games; win all of them and they go to 4.
7. Crookston - beat RLF & PR
lost to EGF TRF DL War
still play Kittson PR EGF TRF W LOW RLF
Realistically beat the teams they should and LOW they could go to 4/5.
8 Red Lake Falls
9 Park Rapids
10 Bagley
11 Kittson
Could jump around within the group - RLF could maybe jump to 7.

So the Mariucci Conference teams minus Crookston will remain at the top, the Mid State in the middle and the Northwest bringing up the rear.
I am still keeping my eye on the LotW squad to see if they can pull a 4 seed for sections.
One month to go.

It's egf's to lose, which they won't.
The only other contender is TRF, and they could have just as easily lost all three section wins to very weak teams.
The section itself is even weaker than normal, as Warroad is a non-factor also.

EGF is struggling bad as of a week ago. They barely got by a LOW team last Saturday. Lost to 2 ND teams and Roseau in the last couple weeks. Hope they can change it around otherwise it will be a tossup in that section...

Nah.
The only tossup is who will finish second.
Even if they play badly, they'll still take the section, partly because it is even weaker than usual.

The mighty Greenwave will 'right the ship' tonight as they take on the Bemidji 'Lumberjills' at the friendly confines of the EGF Civic Center.
