Andover defeats Duluth Marshall 4-1. This probably means Andover would be a 5 seed most likely and Marshall falling to 6.

Wow? Interesting.. you think CEC has the 4 seed locked up? We have st. Francis, East, Grand Rapids, and Marshall left. 4 tough games that's for sure....

Alexandria 3, Bemidji 2. One of the better high school games I have seen in a while. Lots of action, speed and hitting. Bemidji hit a post with 30 seconds left that would have tied it up.

Kyler Yeo (yes, that Yeo) for HM with a hat trick 5 min into the 2nd. He's having a tremendous year and doesn't get nearly the recognition he should as a big strong smart defensive player on one of the best defensive teams in the state.

8)

You follow my posts and comment on almost every one of them. If you want to ask me out, just do it. You do the same with Sparlimb. It's getting weird man.

Simley or not, he's having a great year.

Sorry... Busy drinking. HF came out in the first and absolutely dominated but couldn't score. Brink (just committed to Denver) scored near the end of the first on a nice move so 1-0 Tonka after 1. 2nd period pretty even with no goals but VERY physical. Tonka can play heavy even tho they are young. Urick has them playing big boy Varsity hockey which is nice to see. 3rd period much of the same. More HF chances but nothing going in. HF short handed (3 on 5) at about the 8 minute mark and Tabor picks the Tonka D and scores on a breakaway. A minute later Tonka (5 on 4 now) scores on a nice passing play Brink to Bowman. HF ties it up at about 3 minute mark on the PP - Almquist with a stupid good spin around top shelf shot from the high slot after Tabor and Anderson play catch. Byers with the game winner for HF at the 39 second mark on a tipped shot. Final shots 30 something to 20 something HF. Take away was again HF dominant with puck possession but not finishing. Moe looked a bit shaky I thought. A BIG play was on the 1st shift of game TJ Rogers got taken out on what looked like a cheap play (no penalty) and was done for the game. Not sure how hurt he is, but that certainly hurt Tonka's offense - especially PP. HF as good as anyone but can they score? Tonka can win with a very young team but probably a year away. Fantastic atmosphere at Pagel.

at Andover W 5-3 F
vs. Bemidji W 4-1 F

vs. Buffalo W 3-1 F
at Fargo South/Shanley W 12-1 F

at Brainerd L 4-3 F/OT
vs. Bloomington Jefferson W 3-1 F

at Roseau L 3-2 F
at Alexandria T 2-2 F/OT

vs. Holy Family Catholic W 6-1 F
vs. Prior Lake L 1-0 F

at Benilde-St. Margaret's W 5-2 F
vs. Thief River Falls W 6-2 F

vs. Benilde-St. Margaret's W 6-1 F
at Minnetonka W 9-5 F

at Breck T 3-3 F/OT
vs. Brainerd W 4-1 F

vs. Warroad W 5-1 F
vs. Roseau W 7-0 F

vs. St. Michael-Albertville T 1-1 F/OT

13-3-3 overall
4-2-1 section

Section losses turned around convincingly.
Section tie outshot StMA by about 2-1.
Pretty good non-section wins.
At least 6 of the 7 teams will give them #1.
It is a lock.

StMA 13-3-2 and 3-1-1 in section.
Lost to Buffalo, Holy Family.

If Bemidji beats Moorhead and loses to Mike's is about the only way I can see it change. But right now Moorhead has the votes.
