My understanding one of the Bantam teams is also involved.

elliott70, here is what you had to say

"Do not believe everything you read.
This matter is under investigation so I cannot comment any further than that.
This thread should be locked or better, deleted."

elliott70, I'm waiting for my apology

If we aren't supposed to believe everything we read why is TRF forfeiting their next two games? Just cause they feel bad for the Bantams that got in trouble?

The TRF high school team should feel fortunate that they even have a season left, and certain players should feel fortunate that they aren't in jail.

Maybe if elliott70 did his job instead of trying to sweep it under the rug like the rest of the TRF administration this would have been handled in a more professional and efficient manner.

There was a lot of speculation in the post that were attached. Some of this was false. And we are talking about minors that are afforded some protection.
The youth situation is still being processed. When it is finished there will be some sort of published report.
And speaking of apologies, I don't think you have any idea of what my job is and whether I am doing it or not.

I have heard various rumors as to what has happened, with even the "best" one being not good.

But as I do not know if they are fact, fwiw.

Other info. is that both Bantam coaches were canned, and some bantams were kicked off and suspended.

I can confirm that here has been suspensions but there is still an open appeal process so nothing has been finalized yet.

A couple of years ago there was a "hazing" incident similar to this with the Browerville football program. Players were brought up on charges from the County Attorney

Does Crookston and Cathedral get an appeal or do they just lose a game? This is a crappy deal (no pun intended) for those 2 teams! Unless those 2 teams could play each other. Is that a possibility or do the get the same punishment as the TRF players? How can a youth hockey situation effect a High School team?

They are two different cases.
