Lost one of the great ambassadors of the game today. St. Paul Washington grad I believe. Guys like him will be missed greatly.

Very sad. Excellent coach and even better human being. Tough to pull off being liked and respected - but he did it..

Will always remember Jeff for taking a players stick and swinging it at me in the stands during a Badger/Gopher game in the 80's. I guess he didn't like the comment I made about his team.

Yes he was a graduate of St. Paul Washington.

Much respect to Jeff Sauer, RIP
With that said, I hated the Badgers during the 80's and 90's
