Lambs. The Bisons will need the first period just to work out the bus legs for this odyssey on a Tuesday night. Has the bus left yet?

About a 300 mile bus trip....
Hardly seems fair.

Rams to win but Buffalo has proven they can play.

I believe I saw a tweeted picture of the Buffalo bus heading up last night, so that could certainly ease the Bison bus legs.

If the Rams win and St. Mike's win, the Rams hop on a bus for a long trip. Fair or not, the moral of the story is earn the higher seed and you don't have to worry about it.

What's not fair is the size of the section.

Hard to get a higher seed when the coaches rig it.

:D

But,the seeds aren't based on who has "earned" it.

Elliot would you move in some range teams? GR, Cloquet, etc?

No, I would move in EGF TRF Alexandria.

Not Warroad unless they up their recruiting budget.

Did you watch or DVR their recruiting video on NBCSports on Sunday night! Is there a line of cars registering at Warroad school yet? Or at the arena to register all the new players? Jude is gonna be busy. ;)

Jude is always busy.
He is an all-American by my definition.

Obviously the section is way too large geographically with no real cure for that. Sections rigged by the coaches, not sure about that. I guess we will see. I thought the seeding was rigged last year and the coaches knew more than I did. Is Bemidji an opt up to AA? If so, I bet the high school league would love for Bemidji and Roseau to go back to A. That would solve part of the geographical problem.

Elliott would know more, but last I heard, Bemidji by gross enrollment is over the Class AA threshold but when you deduct the free and reduced lunch students, they fall back into Class A enrollment for hockey classification. So, as of when I read that post and if that reasoning is valid, Bemidji is an opt up.

I would like to see Roseau and Bemidji drop down too, it would break up the EGF/TRF/Warroad triumvirate and send Detroit Lakes and maybe Park Rapids to Section 6A and Northern Lakes can move to Section 5A and still leave 10 teams in 8A.

I think there is some push in both Roseau and Bemidji for that to eventually happen.
