Post all links to past tournament classic videos here.
To start off, I really miss the annual "High School Hockey Tournament Preview Shows" as shown here, this one from 1988: https://youtu.be/kVPl_JoLc2E

A few years back, there was a documentary called Ice Dreams: The History of the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament

Does anyone know if this is available anywhere?

Someday I'll get the other 80 video tapes I have loaded. That project has started and stopped at least 10 times over the last 20 years.

Any video (even non tourney) out there of Big George/Bemidji that people have? He's a distant relative and my kids have only been able to see clips of him.

Anything more would be great!

I have a large collection of high school games, all on DVD dating back to 1989. I would give up my first born to get my hands on games from the mid 80's..... Sparlinb? If you want to see my collection, PM me with an email and I will send an excel file to you.

"Finbar Murphy didn't play high school hockey until high school." Wow, that is really deep!

This guy's video is really good quality. I too would love anything pre 89. Trying to collect as much as I possibly can. So far I have 89-2002. Working on catching up to now at the moment, but anything before 89 would be an amazing bonus.

not sure if you guys remember videoscout? He used to be a regular on the board but I haven't seen him post in a couple years. Maybe Karl or someone else could help hook you up? I think he had/has a lot of the stuff you are looking for.

The more that can get on YouTube, the better. Always fun to watch old clips.
I have been Specifically looking for 2001. One of the more underrated tournaments, IMO. The greenway games were crazy. Tieing ep late and then winning in overtime. Moorhead beating greenway in the semis. Up and down action was great.

Then Moorhead ran out of steam against a talented elk river squad. Similar to the east/lakeville championship in 2015.

That would be excellent. I remember Videoscout, but never discussed getting any video from him. I didn't know what all he had. If he is gone from the board, then that will be tough unless someone here knows him personally.

More of a road to the tournament type program, but this is "Minnesota Mania" - KSTP, 1980.

This was awesome, I can't believe they don't do anything like this anymore. And whatever happened to the music videos? That was always a highlight of the tourney. Still remember Larry Olimb jamming on the guitar.

1987 Championship game between Bloomington Kennedy and Burnsville. It's split up into several parts, but the entire game is on YouTube.

I hate to give them any credit, but Hill-Murray has a treasure trove of their appearances on their website (I highly recommend the 1984 vs. Johnson game . #Cooperalls).
