Moorhead - 4 - 2 - EGF

Shots 25 - 20 in favor of Moorhead.

I wondered if the Moorhead game would be competitive and it was. Should have made my initial list five games. Also should have added Blaine-Centennial. For some reason I was reading too much into early buzz that Centennial was a Top Ten team and Blaine wasn't, when in fact there may not be that much separation.

I had a total whiff by going to Wayzata tonight. B-SM only mustered 4 shots in the first two periods, so I left. They had a great effort Tuesday. I guess it doubled to 8 for the game.

Made the right call by skipping Edina. Saw some online and it was as lopsided as anticipated, but by not going to Braemar missed one of the games of the day. Elk River with the reversal, scoring in the last seconds to force OT and then going on to win.

Still not the Game of the Day if the boxscore I saw is correct. Duluth East vs. Cloquet must have been blowing the roof of the place late with a pair of goals in the final 20 seconds.

Just an FYI
My games of the day are the ones I am interested in the outcome, not necessarily thinking they may be a close/exciting game.

Also, I am always interested in games involving youth hockey district 16 teams (including Bemidji and Roseau as well as the single A teams) so they do not get mentioned unless it is a 1 & 2 clash, a rivalry game or something like Moorhead and EGF.
