And BSM? If any private school should be on there it should be Duluth Marshall above those 2. And I don't believe they belong in the top 20 yet.

Umm, yeah, aside from your top 3, your rankings might be based on something other than what has actually happened in games that occurred in Fall of 2017.

I can’t believe with Holy Family’s tough schedule they aren’t higher? I mean LDC, Orono, Delano and then the total bashing of Waconia they are not #1!

Blaine lost to Irondale if you are keeping track at home. Top 20 - but not 8.

HF and the Wright County Conference really need to find a way to amicably part ways, at least for hockey. Having a powerhouse AA team in a single A conference makes no sense, and these mismatch games don’t really benefit either side. Just go independent and schedule some of the stronger neighboring teams like Delano and Orono if you still want to maintain those rivalries.

The issue is that you have other sports with different class systems. Ideally, you would want a conference with teams that play in the same class across all sports, but I don't believe you can change conferences for a single sport. If hockey was everything, Holy Family should really be in the Metro West Conference with the AA schools in Carver County like Chanhassen and Chaska.

You left out the Wayzata win which is important in regards to their ranking.

I use a win based formula, I am not concerned with losses. They have a win over Maple Grove and ties with Hill-Murray and Centennial which I feel are more important than the loss to Irondale.

Elk River to high, they have no significant wins, they have lost every chance against ranked teams, Centennial, Edina and Maple grove. Blaine way to low with a win over MG and ties with Hill and Centennial. In my opinion.

Sections is what matters, who cares about conferences.

Agreed on section importance, but a healthy portion of the regular season schedule are conference opponents.

In my opinion Holy Family is too high here, Benilde should not be ranked, and the big omission is Wayzata. I walked out after two periods when Wayzata pummeled the Red Knights. The game was that bad.
Weird because B-SM put up a very good showing against St. Thomas. We've learned that their good result against Hermantown doesn't mean as much as we thought.

I'm not concerned about losses, anybody can have a bad game, I track wins, not everybody can beat good teams.

Well lets see how they perform against Wayzata coming up. That will confirm or deny their ranking.

True but it happens in other conferences too. Teams like St Thomas and Hill-Murray limit themselves to just one game against teams like Simley and Henry Sibley in their conference.

I'm confused, Big omission is Wayzata? I have them at #7.
