I think the hockey hub's days are numbered.

I doubt it. It’s run by the Star Tribune, is one of many hubs for Minnesota high school sports, and it is essentially a requirement for scores to be entered by teams into their database.

I think they can coexist :)

At one time all scores were submitted through the AP through an automated telephone sysyem, that system is gone and has been by and large replaced by hockeyhub.....scores still need be collected and distributed by a viable system, twitter is hardly that at this time.

State of Hockey has been around for 4 years already and just takes all their stats from the Hub. The Hub isn't going anywhere.

Please stick to #218 Hockey, pumping the East tires, and lamenting about C-E-C Hockey. HockeyHub isn't going anywhere.

grandstadium.tv vs prepspotlight.tv

My questions are what happened to grandstadium.tv and is it being replaced by prepspotlight.tv? In addition to pay-per-view events, Grandstadium.tv used to have an archive of events that you could order on DVD, including the state hockey tourney. The site seems to be down to a single page now.

Prepspotlight.tv seems to be run by Channel 45 and seems to broadcast a ton of MSHSL events.

I watched Tonka football last night from New Jersey for free. I hope prepspotlight.tv is replacing grandstadium.tv. The problem with grandstadium.tv is that you could order live events (for a price) but not rewatch them without paying for the overpriced DVDs. I'm sure the MSHSL got a nice cut of the action, but it was not a good value. Even if I decide to order DVDs, the site seems to be down now.

Anyone know what's going on?

School Space Media has some new agreement with MSHSL. I am not sure the extent of it.

Thanks O-town. Tough to find info on the agreement, but prepspotlight.tv seems to be an improvement over grandstadium.tv. Also still wondering where to order DVDs of the state hockey tourney.

Did some searching on hockey dvd ordering. For years 1992 up to 2009, contact mshsl (Yvonne).
mailto:ywalsh@mshsl.org

For subsequent years, Best I can find is to contact KSTC45:

All links to grandstadium.tv just go to a single page now. I'll have to contact Yvonne at MSHSL to see what's going on.
