Minnesota will be fielding a team in this year's Chowder Cup Tournament outside of Boston. The tournament kick's off this Thursday and runs through the weekend. This is a great Jr level off-season tournament. There are also two Minnesota kids on the Green Mountain Glades team (Burlington, VT) that will be playing in the Chowder Cup - Collin Ostroot and Cole Scattarelli, both from Elk River. <p></p><i></i>

I see the Blades won their first Chowder Cup game 5-2. No boxscores or gamesheets on the website (www.proamhockey.com), so we'll have to rely on MassMan to keep us informed as to who did what. timmyo, where are collin and cole playing next year? <p></p><i></i>

They'll both be playing for the Glades in the EJHL. They went out to the camp in May, (the Eastern teams have camps early) and both played well. Collin had a tender with the North Iowa team, but the fit out East was very good, so he went with that instead. He's got some Eastern schools (D1 and DIII) pretty interested in him, and he thought the every week exposure would be good. Plus, it's kind of a fun adventure to go to a new part of the country. <p></p><i></i>

Godlewski is on the Chicago Chill 25 man roster. Reports from the two-week camp in July were that he played very well. I hope he plays well in the Buc Bowl and makes the final 23 man. <p></p><i></i>
