Sure was funny watching the Sports Issue by KOZY on “Sheldon Willis” on youtube this morning and both GR and Greenway in studio. Sheldon asked a Greenway player what he expected tonnight and the player responds that he thinks they’re going to run Rapids out of their own building. Clafton immediately goes face into both palms. I’ve never laughed so hard at a HS hockey interview. Btw, most GR home and away games will be live streamed by KOZY on Sheldon Willis Youtube channel. Well, ALL home games and most away games.

Breck player picked up a 5-minute major right at the end of the period. Like I said yesterday, dumb penalties are hurting Breck. Maybe not this game, however.

Pretty sad..that Breck, which used to rival STA & Hermantown...has de-emphasized hockey so drastically...that they now schedule Pine City

I agree with your assessment of the 3rd period. I don’t know if Breck took their foot off the gas some after jumping out to the 5-0 lead, but credit to PC for fighting back and making things interesting for a while.

Takeaways from a Breck perspective:
- First line (senior and two sophs) looked really good, and buried every chance they had early in the game
- Defensemen chipped in with some scoring and moved the puck well (if a little sloppy at times)
- Too many penalties again
- Defense and goaltending were shaky in the 3rd

Overall a better performance than last night, but still plenty of work to do. Meanwhile, Marshall is hanging in against Davies, but we’ll see what the 3rd period holds.
