Game is delayed after a pane of glass shattered into a million pieces. Edina comfortably ahead 6-3 with just a few minutes left.

Edina 6. CDH 3. 3:04 left and Jungels got upended on a late check and his skates hit the glass shattering it. 15 minute break and the teams are in the locker room. The CDH video person caught it on video. Edina will be on the power play.

Update. The maintenance crew just shattered another pane while repairing the first one. This could take awhile.

First period an even game, both goalies had jitters and gave up 3 early . How often do you see a soph goalie facing a freshman goalie at Braemar varsity gane

Edina Strong 2nd period and depth began to take over .

3rd period pretty sloppy, Edina adding more minutes for more kids , before the aforementioned glass incident . After which I left to watch rest of Grandson CC game on adjacent rink

Davison back for CDH , but Gleason nursing arm injury from earlier in week , wearing some kind of arm brace or wrap under jersey which prevented him from getting good and accurate strength on wrister at times , despite best effort as usual

Edina continuing to build skill and experience . Cretin still trying to return to full strength , has a ways to go til optimal

My take on the GR- Brainerd game last night. Rapids immediately took a 5 minute penalty and had to kill off the first part of the period. While the penalty kill is solid on this team they put themselves a man down way too often. IMHO. When they play at even strength they are a competitive team.

Brainerd looked good to me. They move the puck well and they got really good goal tending. They capitalized on a couple of their chances as Clafton shut the door on them many times.

I honestly believe that if they would stay out of the box a little more they could have a couple more wins than they do. It's a long ways from late February so there is still plenty of time. Skol THawks.
