Can someone remind me how seedings work for the state tournament? I dont recall exactly how it works. I dont think they rank all 8 teams in each class and go 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, etc... but I could be wrong??? Do they rank something like the top 5 teams and make 6-8 random and have 4 vs 5 play?

Correct. Top 5 then seeded, then the other three are random draws.

PROJECTED PAIRINGS: Boys' Class AA/A: A seeding meeting to determine state tournament pairings will be held on the Saturday preceding the state tournament. The participating coaches will seed teams 1-5 in their respective tournament, and the remaining teams, will be determined by a blind draw.
