Anyone know what a typical number of MN HS players are offered early Tender roster spots on the Nov 1st -the earliest date?
Do the offers happen on this day, or is this the earliest, first day and offers trickle in over the next few days/weeks?
Is there usually a bunch of kids or just a few? Assume all current Seniors?
Thanks for the info-

What I've observed over the past years is that very few will be offered right away. Over the high school hockey season another 10 or so will be offered some as late as March/April. Of course I'm sure I don't see all that are offered. The USHL does a better job announcing them then the other leagues. GB

GB - this may have been answered in another thread, but I can't find it. Do you know how many NAHL games a kid can play to start the season and still be eligible for the HS season? Also, do you know if someone can play a full NAHL season, and then go back to MSHSL the following year?

GoBig, I don't think there is a limit on number of games one can play. The cutoff is the NAHL player needs to be registered as a student and on the high school hockey roster at a certain time. Basically early November. So a kid could play 5, 10, 15 games in NAHL as long as he's checked all the boxes to allow him to start the high school season. Your second question, I have never seen anyone play a full NAHL season and come back to high school. I think transfer rules come into play and usually kids are seniors that opt to play NAHL, not many juniors I know of. It's probably possible, with a good attorney etc which has been discussed in the transfer topic. GB

I gotta admit that I'd rather read this topic than about the annual 11th hour 7AA coaching carousel at GR and CEC

Great, the junior hockey forum on here is well followed 🙄 nobody will miss you here.

Karl does a horse bleep job of moving topics to the appropriate forum so we end with this being a hodgepodge of BS.
