In honor of the recent holiday in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, I have a dream today.

I don’t have a kid that plays anymore and I don’t have a team that I care enough about to win. My only concern at this point is how player movement will ruin this game, and it’s already happening.,,

So here is my dream to honor Dr. King:

1: Cloquet wins 7AA and Eden Prairie loses in Sections. If that happens and anyone gets a picture of Jamie Langenbruner’s face at that moment, that could be a possible Pulitzer!

2. Denfeld beats Hermantown in the 7A playoffs at Amsoil:

TV timeouts makes it possible. To see a photo of all of the Denfeld/Proctor/Wisconsin and Iron Range Parents that sent their kids to Hermantown for the auto trip to State at that buzzer would be absolutely priceless! I would happily walk away and never watch another game in this sport that we are slowly losing.

Your dream sounds good to me, Jeffry. My purple Lumberjacks are almost at full strength....finally. Coach Walters and his staff have the kiddos just about right for a run. 7AA is a frickin mine field. Our coaching staff and pucksters are on the same page going into the stretch run. Split with Duluth East and get a home playoff game and lets the pucks fall where they may. Three words. Galatz, Carlson, and Anderson. - and a bunch of hungry role players. And me.....Mr. kniven

2. Denfeld won’t beat Hermantown this year (but will in 2021)

3. I hope I’m wrong (cept for the 2021 thing)
