Hi All,
The snowfall and colder weather have brought with them the reality that this hockey season is going to be a lot different. I've always known it intellectually, but now I FEEL it. I thought this thread could be a place for us to support each other and talk about what we're going to miss this season.
It seems that any thread even slightly related to Covid has a chance to turn political and nasty. Let's keep this one friendly and hockey-related, ok?
Here's what I'm missing right now:
-The buzz about who is/isn't at tryouts. Checking the MSHSL website for updated rosters.
-Karl's preseason rankings.
-Watching the wild on TV as a means to kill time until the high school season starts.
-Walking into the Plymouth Ice Center and seeing my Hornets play for the first time in 8.5 months. This brings such a comfort. It reminds me that life's rhythms are all in place.
How bout everybody else?
