It's the most wonderful time of the year - World Junior Championships time. While I'm sure most people on this Board are aware of it and active followers, if you have been too busy in past years to follow this tournament - it's some of the best hockey you will see.
This year for Minnesotan's participating on Team USA we've got:
Brock Faber (U of M) - Maple Grove, MN
Drew Helleson (BC) - Farmington, MN
Jackson LaCombe (U or M) - Eden Prairie, MN
Bobby Brink (DU) - Minnetonka, MN
If you're more of an NHL guy, the Wild have some players in the Tournament as well:
Marco Rossi, Austria (9th Overall Pick, First Round, 2020)
Pavel Novak, Czech Republic (146th Overall Pick, Fifth Round, 2020)
Vladislav Firstov, Russia (42nd Overall Pick, Second Round, 2019)
Marat Khusnutdinov, Russia (37th Overall Pick, Second Round, 2020)
Matthew Boldy, United States (12th Overall Pick, First Round, 2019)

If I've missed anyone feel free to correct me - I'm just looking for some hockey talk to get me through the holidays.

Faber and Helleson have looked excellent from the limited action I have seen. Brink failed to convert on a golden opportunity against Russia, which really could have turned the momentum in USA’s favor. Knight was brutal in net, though, so the loss may have been inevitable.
Boldy is not the most dynamic skater, but he can really finish and has to be accounted for at all times. It seems like he is in the midst of a breakout year and will be a nice addition for the Wild.

So between Brink and Helleson, Breakaway has four goals and three assists . Still waiting for Breakaways Lacombe to get on the board . Ryan Johnson had one last nite too- he has some indirect Breakaway connections also
