I’m not sure who has Gentry ranked #1, but I’ll roll with it, since it’s really their only challenging Class A opponent of the regular season. Also, I highly endorse watching any Little Falls broadcast. The announcers and crew are very professional, and the interviews with Coach Couture are entertaining.

He is a big Little Falls fan so he is just talking them up.

Per SW Christian Twitter, the game with Providence is canceled and they will play Waconia instead. I’m guessing that Providence has Covid issues. Not reflected yet on the Hub, but we’ll see how their games going forward are impacted.

Sometimes the lesser teams can put on a good game too. Watched Greenway beat I-Falls 4-3 in O.T. Falls went up 2-0, G-way scored 3 straight, Falls tied it on a 5 on 3 then the Raiders won in dominant fashion in O.T. Fun to watch.

We watched Eden Prairie beat Blake last night 5-1 . Eden Prairie very impressive with 4 D1 kids, and and a few other possibles someday. Pretty much took care of business , shots were 43-18. Top line of Blake, Holt , Batchelder is one of top in state, if not the top, Blake had 2. On the PP, they add in Langebrunner and Mittelstadt, and usually score in about 30 seconds or less. Hayes was solid, and stopped some nice shots from Mahoney , among others. Reid held the game close in the first, but then PPG started to add up, and the Bears seem to understandably tire in the third. Richardson got one with 20 sec left in the third, to avoid the shutout.

As good as MG is, got to think that EP might be as good or better with return of Blake. Has anyone seen both in person, since Blake returned, and could offer insight? We havent seen MG as a team this year yet. Wont ever know for sure unless they face each other at the X. EP has a very tough regular season schedule remaining, but would probably be the favorite going into each game, and with a little puck luck might not lose another, so 17-1 is possible.
