Ugh, Orono has the worst streaming I have seen. I have tried to watch their last two games and had to give up because the stream was so choppy. You’d think that one of the wealthier schools in the state could fork over some dough for decent equipment

I have heard there are some MN high school hockey enthusiast in Colorado with extra cash that would like to help fund such a thing.

I don’t know who you’re referring to
If I had extra money to throw around for broadcasts, I’d focus on Breck actually having an announcer for their streams. Maybe I can earmark my piddling donations for that cause.

A good defensive battle going on between Mahtomedi and Orono.

Grand Rapids & Hermantown 3-3 third period.

Final 5-3 Hermantown over Grand Rapids.

Virginia 3-1 over Greenway.

One of the most entertaining games I have seen this season. The Hermantown offense is terrifying.

Minnetonka 4, Duluth East 2, Final.

Hounds went down 3-0 in the 1st and looked woefully overmatched, but did a good job to battle back from there, making it 3-2 and getting some very good looks on the PP to nearly tie it up before giving up a shorty on a subsequent PP. Decent effort, but the talent gap is apparent.

As for Hermantown-Rapids, that was some fun hockey. Andrews switched his lines in the 3rd to put Pionk and Plante together, and that proved the winning combination on the go-ahead goal. That was a very good defensive team they tore up tonight. The rematch between these two should be a thriller, and the only test Hermantown will likely get until maybe the state final.

Rapids had only given up five goals in seven games, and Hermantown equaled that total tonight (with one empty-netter). Plante is scary good already as a sophomore.
