Lleyton Roed being ineligible for the postseason is big news and a surprise to me. Really hurts the Bears’ already slim chances.

Donaghue was outstanding as a guest. Apparently the 6A coaches have great senses of humor.

Wasn't aware of this either. Definitely tough for a Bears team that will need all the help they can get in sections. Although it sounds like the team was aware this would be the case for a while now?

Roed is a D-1 commit, so losing him for playoffs is a huge loss. Looked up his stats last night - he has the third most points on the team, but in 4 less games than the two with more. He also leads the team in points per game [1.54 PPG].

I didn't know that about Roed either. That makes me a lot less nervous.

And on the bright side, I couldn't understand why Nick Erickson wasn't named in the Brimsek segment until I realized he's only a junior and Hill will have him back next year. All positives...
