I know nothing. How can I discuss?

The Pinoniemi who is on the roster (senior), is he the one who moved from Delano to Holy Family, or was that a brother?

See, I don't know very much.

Only good Match up of the day

Delano finally playing like they should of been all year were the biggest under performer early on. 2A was very weak and it allowed the Tigers to find its form and coast to State.

LF has been up and down all year lost to Dodge and NL but beat Denfeld, Sartell x2, Fergus x2 and played toe to toe with Warroad.

Wil be a great game

Cheering for Coach Couture Flyers win by 1

These teams are basically mirror images of one another, in that they play tight defensive games and rarely pull away from decent teams. Both have solid depth; Delano has some more scoring punch, while LF has the superior goaltending. Delano’s special teams are much stronger, including the best PK in the state at 94.4%. I would be surprised if either team scored more than four goals and the margin of victory is more than two goals.

My head says Delano, but I’ll go with my heart and also pick the Flyers to advance for Coach Couture in his final season.

Not saying it won't happen, but the most goals LF has given up was 8 to Gentry. The next most was 4 to NL. Unless they totally lay a turd, I don't see it happening.

I think that was Elliott’s dry humor in response to me picking LF to win a low-scoring contest.

Delano looked like the better team but down 1-0.
Couture definitely saved the Flyers’ bacon a few times.

Little Falls with the "ugly" win. If Delano had some sharpshooters, they would have probably won. They peppered Dane's chest all night and Dane was up to the challenge. Good he was playing loose or the Flyers would have been in trouble. Flyers forecheck was non-existent it appeared in the first two periods and Delano handled them quite easily giving the Flyers very few scoring chances. Meanwhile in the other end, it seemed Delano had numerous scoring opportunities and came up empty. Flyers first line will need to step it up, and with Lamb on the ice, they better keep him out of the slot, cuz he will score.

Yeah, that game played out pretty much according to script for Delano, except they failed to convert some golden scoring opportunities (or were robbed by Dane). A good example was the 3-on-0 break the Tigers had midway through the second, which resumed in a shot pretty much into Couture’s breadbasket while there was a guy wide open across the doorstep. It was a physical game, and I thought that Delano really pushed the Flyers around for the first two periods. Not a pretty contest, but it was entertaining.

I am guessing that LF learned some lessons from the loss to DC. Ironically, I think the Flyers maybe paid too much attention to Lamb in that game; after allowing him to shake free for two early goals, they spent more time pounding Lamb than actually playing their game. They will have to find a comfortable balance while obviously not letting him take control of the contest.

Oh, and Tony’s podcast joke about Delano becoming the Class A version of WBL is starting to feel like reality… they only have to lose about 15 more quarterfinal games in a row
