Not just because they're my home team, but Grand Rapids vs. Forest Lake is a big section matchup because it is their only reg. season matchup. Last year they did not play each other, had Grand Rapids played them and won GR would have been 3 and FL #4 in the brackets. So this game will definetly have some weight when the coaches meet to set the playoffs.

Saturday November 26, 7:30 P.M. at St. Thomas Ice Arena. St. Thomas versus Rochester Lourdes in a rematch of their thrilling double overtime section final last year where St. Thomas defeated the Eagles 2-1. Both teams seem to be top 15 class A material. Should be a great game, the arena will be rocking.

If the schedules on the MSHSL website are true

Duluth East Vs Wayzata on the 3rd of December might be good,

same with:
Wayzata V. Burnsville on 11/25
Centenniel V. Roseville on 12/3
Breck V. Stillwater on 12/1
White Bear Lake V. CEC on 12/9

some pretty good ones if they are accurate and if the rankings or reports on how good a team is going to be are true!

those mshsl schedules aren't final yet, because wbl will prolly end up playing hill before then. Which would end up being one of the best opening games.
The curse lives on.....

Props to Bruce for being a huge help to me in compiling these. Wayzata has lost a lot

Wayzata lost a lot of talent and go to guys last year.
Wehrs,Lucia, Davis, Laurenitis are gone.....
Miller looks banged up in football, if he is not 100% at the beginning of the year...I would look elsewhere for good matchups. But maybe Davis will be able to coach
now that his son is gone.

A good season opener??? how bout Bloomington Jefferson vs Bloomington Kennedy in the first regular season game of the season. cant get any better than cross-town rivals to get the season started.........how bout when moorhead comes down to Bloomington late in the season for a rematch vs BJ. That will turn out to be pretty good game to see.

Due to having to go to two family Thanksgivings, I won't be able to check out any of the games until 11/29. Games I'll consider checking out:

St. Thomas Academy @ Redwing
Faribault @ Northfield
Prior Lake @ Owatonna
Edina @ St. Louis Park
Rosemont @ Roseville

I wish I was close enough to check on Cloquet @ Grand Rapids.
