Not sure of the pionts, but im pretty positive that the all time leading scorer is Johny Pohl followed by Dave Spehar.

Hermantown's B.J. Radovich has 219 (110+109) career points. Probably not as many as Pohl but still a great accomplishment.

new record in the making?

Just want to point out that if Jordan Schroeder were to remain in high school throughout, he would have a chance to not only enter his name into the top 3 all-time MN point leaders, but also may have a shot at breaking Pohl's mark. Schroeder led STA with over 40 pts last year as an 8th grader! the skills of this kid are ridiculous. not only is he a fantastic scorer and playmaker, what impresses me the most is his calm attitude when he is on the ice. Yes, he would need about 80 pts each year to break the overall record but with how much better this kid has gotten since last year's state tourney, the sky is the limit....

Wow Dangle2006 do you get sucked in easily. You will make a great NFL owner someday. The next Al Davis.
A kid exceeds expectations so lets sign him to the most lucarative contract in sports history. Let the kid proof himself over a couple of years.

What do you think is going to happen to his game when teams come in looking to shut him down? Do you think he is still going to dominate? Lets find out before we start talking records. Even though he is only a Freshmen we call it a sophmore slump. If he can avoid that then start talking record.

elite status

Not a big enough target on his back u say? The kid was the only freshman to make Elite 1 and how did he do on number 1 seeded team Southwest? He led his team in points! The kid was just 15 years old as he did this against 18 year olds. How can you question that skill? I am not saying he has the record in the bag, but he has a shot at it and noone can deny that. The real question is how long will he be around for....

Jordan played for Team Southeast in the Elite League. Not Team Southwest

Slapshooter. One year does not a career make. I have heard of many kids doing amazing things at an early age. Jimmy King won the state as a eighth grader in the triple jump took third his senior year. My point is quit putting the kid on the fast track let him mature and develop. The people who think he is already going to the NHL are going to look pretty stupid if things don't pan out. Then you will be the first ones to critize him because he didn't live up to your expectations. You will have no one to blame but yourself for your foolish attitudes.

I saw him play in the Elite one tournament. In the partial games I saw he skated 3 shifts. I saw at least 3 periods between both games. So don't give me this he was amazing with the Elite one team. The main reason he was on it is because Russo recognized (you) suckers are born every minute and if you play him up as a phenomn those same suckers will pay money to watch him.

So put that on your stick and shoot it

I thought we were talking about the all time leading scorers. Not a kids potential and how he did as an 8th grader. Make a thread about Schroeder if thats what you want to talk about.

Well im glad he got his points playing in one of Minnesota premeir hockey confrences... i would of have loved seeing him get those points playing against tough teams instead of henry sibley, richfield, simley etc... actually i would have loved to see him even make the Varsity team last year at an average school like Eastview or Coon Rapids let alone a good school.

I'm not sure if you're talking about state tournament games or not. If you're talking regular season as well, that could be close to impossible to figure out who's the all time leading scorer.

If it's state tourament games only, it's John Mayasich from Eveleth. He's first in Goals (36) and points (46). Johnny Pohl is first in assists (17).

freeAgent if you read my posts. I try very hard not to critcize the kid. I think he is a excellent player among his peers.

My goal is to keep people from jumping up and down because they think they might be seeing the next coming of Gretzky. I prefer to appreciate what they have done as opposed to what they are going to do but one season is not going to convince me of greatness either.
