Any news on transfers for the upcoming season? I heard Tonka has a couple future Gophers transferring in.

I think it’s fair to say their will always remain dads who prefer to teach their kids to run from a challenge, or change teams, rather than risk losing. No doubt those are life lessons they will never have cause to regret teaching. But that obviously doesn’t apply to ____. Of course it’s reasonable for her to leave - totally different situation. (Fill in the blank with whatever name minimizes any personal discomfort.)

MInnetonka's twitter account congratulated the Skippers' Ava Lindsey on making the U18 Select Camp. Played at Breck last season.

That's who I was referring to in my post - Lindsay and Klepinger to Tonka.

Josie Lang (2024) moves from Breck to Stillwater for the upcoming season.

Why is it several boys hockey teams get roasted when they have transfers in on a somewhat regular basis, but the girls teams really never do. Edina, Tonka, Andover, & Holy Family have had huge transfer numbers the past few years.

There's no point in roasting anyone. Let these kids play where they want.

3 Breck girls have been mentioned here. I've heard another is off to Shattuck. That program is mostly starting over. It's quite astounding who has left that team via graduation or transfer the past 3 years.

I'm not sure that changes the calculus.

Parents quite often move their kids into better academic schools. That's not roastable either, in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure Lindsay and Lang are returning to their home high schools. Not sure where Klepinger is from.

She played her youth hockey for Andover although her OS recruiting page lists Corcoran as home.

Rumor has it another couple girls from Andover are transferring to the school by the bay.

Youth Hockey Hub confirming the worst kept secret. The Hemp sisters leaving Andover and taking their talents to the Skippers.

I wonder how Moosepaw feels about Randy's Section 2AA chances now...? Is he already out on the recruiting trail for more talent?
