Mpls looked really good. I was impressed by their speed and ability to create unsettled situations. Alex may have come out a bit flat after the Little Falls loss, which is understandable, but I am bullish on Mpls.

100% agree Stang they are a Top 10 Class A Team

Eden Prairie 4, Duluth East 3, final, shots 31-28 Eagles...pretty even game, and another instance of the Hounds playing pretty well against a good team but not quite pulling it out. Shorter bench and a more vociferous Steve Pitoscia today, which seemed to have some effect. EP is decent, but didn't look like a top 15 team in this showing. Occasional flashes from Luloff and Townsend and a lot of respectable players, but I'd say there's a real gap between them and the likes of Wayzata or even Grand Rapids.

The Hounds are now 0-7, though only one of those was a blowout; the rest, excluding ENs, have all been one- or two-goal games. Granted, they probably should have won two of those; another came against a team more or less on their level, and three have been to pretty good teams. As awful as the record is, they're not *that* far from being decent. We'll see if they can finally get off the mat against Cloquet next week.

For stretches it seems like Rosemount has been less interested in winning the game than beating up on Hermantown players.

Opsahl played well last year. I’m not sure why he is playing so poorly today; might just be the lack of game action.

Rough week for these two 2A teams both will be leaving the Class A Rankings but I can see both being a force a lower 5-8 seed in 2A down the road.
