1 PM game. Too bad this one has to be a day game. Should be a great game.

Juicy. Saw their first matchup of the year in person at the Turkey Trot at PIC where Edina needed to come from behind to win in overtime. Edina is a dangerous unseeded team and some thought they should have received the #5 seed. Edina coming in hot winning 8 straight and dismantled BSM in the section final. Both teams seem to rely on two key players for scoring: Clark and Fechko for Edina and Gunderson and Brink for Maple Grove. I think Edina keeps their hopes of winning the title alive in a close one or two goal differential affair.

Both of these teams have spent parts of the season looking like the best team in the state. I've only seen Maple Grove once this year - their tilt against the Hornets was the first game of the season. For two periods I thought the Crimson looked like one of the most talented teams I'd seen in a number of years... and then Edina came back and won.

Toss up game IMHO . Puck luck will dictate

Tie game 1-1. I didn't know both teams could score, after the 1st game.

Not sure if its just me, but Edina looks to be moving their feet quite a bit more than Maple Grove. I just see the crimson getting stifled. They better find a way to get more chances.

Somebody's gotta do something about all the AA quarterfinal blowouts. Sad!

Didn't expect a snoozer of a tournament so far, maybe the night games will change things around. Edina had momentum at the end of the first period, but nothing came of it.

That steal and score by Juliani was the end of the game right there. Especially the clank off the post kinda like the final toll of the bell on Edina's championship hopes.

#20 for Maple Grove had a great game. First year where you can’t get a tournament program. Pretty disappointing.

#20 is Danny Nelson, sophomore and younger brother of Henry Nelson, who graduated last year, is committed to Notre Dame and playing in USHL this year. Youngest Nelson brother is 7th grader on Osseo-Maple Grove Peewee AA team.
