5A Champion Monticello (13-15-1) vs 3A Champion Mankato East (17-11-1) Class A Consolation @ Mariucci Arena

A consolation game between Monticello and Mankato East should be a good one. Both teams play a lot of forwards and will look to wear the other down. Mankato East has the better core of D and Monticello has the better batch of forwards overall. Both goalies played well on Wednesday while trying to hold their teams in the game. Which team will rebound faster and be ready to go at 9:00 AM tomorrow will be key. This should be a very good match up between two programs that have made quite a few State Tournaments of late.
