Hutchinson 1994-95 entered the State Tournament (24-0-0)

Played Red Wing in the first round at State and some 9th grader name Johnny Pohl had a hat trick for the Wingers and they won 3-1

Huh I always thought he had a hat trick. I am sure you remember better though. That had to be a fun group to watch growing up in Hutch, although you would have been very young I think at time. That team had was it Dolan on it? Played at Notre Dame maybe I think. Your dad was coaching that team right bardown27?

My mistake bardown27 I thought I saw on here at sometime you grew up in Hutch and your dad was the old coach in Hutch back in the mid 90's. As you can see my mind is playing tricks on me of late. Disregard my nonsense please. Moving this thread along.

There are a couple GR undefeated years missing , will check for those

Prior to 1993, Roseau was undefeated at 23-0 in both 1978, 1979, in the regular season through sections.

Mounds View was undefeated heading into State in 1976. Then went two and out.

Why do I remember this? Because they beat the Hounds in the Section 2 finals!

GR undefeated regular season 1979 and 1990?

Orono in 1983. 19-0-1. Beat St Louis Park and Wayzata in Regions before losing to Minnetonka in the Region 6AA semi finals at the Met. Hill Murray was undefeated that year as well. GB
