Pure juice. Tonka is certainly a beatable team and Andover has the second best top line in the entire tourney (Warroad at the top). If Thoreson, Casey, and Conway are able to get some good scoring chances, I like Andover's chances. 50/50 game.

I was thinking relative to class when I wrote that, but yes, your take would pretty much apply to any AA team playing an A schedule.

I'll take Tonka, and give you two goals.

I haven’t watched any of Warroad so I have no opinion on their top line (if you go by points alone, I know that’s not everything) Andover is better. I have watched Andover this season. The 3 players are so different in how they play , they complement each other so well. Thorson can create on his own if he needs to, has a nose for the net and competes his a.. off. Conway is cold blooded when the puck is on his stick in the slot or around the net. It’s on his stick and in the net in the blink of an eye. Casey is a 200 foot player with excellent offensive skills not usually found in that type of player. He covers so well in the D zone his two wingers don’t need to spend much time there. Affords them the opportunity to get instant offense. Never stops competing as well. Can break the puck out himself if need be and stretches the D with his tape to tape passes.

I’m sure the same things can be said about the Warroad line as well just have never seen them play. Good luck to them in their semifinal game, they are the last hope for the North!

That was a horrible call, top 10 worst. Don’t call the crosscheck but call that ticky tack trip? Same official. Be consistent, that is all we ask.

And seconds later it is 3-1. . The better team won but Andover went from what should have been a 5 on 3 to a 4 on 4 in a one goal game late in the third. I’d have been okay with no calls but to make the one and not the other? Ridiculous!
