Pick 8 for AA

Just like horseracing, but hockey. And there's 8. Winner is correct ticket at lowest cost.
I - Lake S
II - Minnetonka, Chan
III - Rosemount, Eastview
IV - Hill-Murray
V - Maple Grove, Rogers
VI - Edina, Wayzata
VII - Rock Ridge, Andover, Grand Rapids
VIII - Sartell, Roseau, Moorhead
1 x 2 x 2 x 1 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 = $144
This is the toughest year I've seen going back 10 or more. Really tough. Will be interesting to see results.

If Tonka or Wayzata/Edina don't win it all at state, I'd be shocked. The Lake Conference is on such a different level from everyone else, that it's almost unfair.

Flashbacks to picking Michigan State to win March Madness the year they lost to 15-seed Middle Tennessee State in the first round...

By chance, did you announce the Maple Grove-Andover game last week? He used the term "full send" too and referenced the Nelk Boys (youtube pranksters).

Oh my, and here I've been claiming Nelk Boys Full Send as an original! I use it once a game. Didn't do MG-Andover though so it wasn't me. Full send on an icing call works and fills my goal of having pop culture references for younger kids to offset Tubthumping and Chuck Woolery for the older crowd.
Steve Will Do It graduated from the same high school four years before my son. What a success story.

The Andover announcer said the same thing about using "full send" and "Nelk Boys" as pop culture references for the younger crowd. Kind of surprised me though because Nelk Boys have been around for awhile (they are OG youtubers), and SteveWillDoIt (especially) is not a very good role model for anyone really. I like the guy but his binge drinking sets a bad example. Last I checked, the Nelk Boys as a whole are banned from all Canadian university campuses, and the countries of Russia and Italy, lol. As Canadians, they frequently include hockey or hockey references in their videos. SteveWillDoIt joined later after he gained his own massive following as a Florida youtuber.

Back in '58 the Nelk Boys lived over on 8th street - they were not as tough as they thought they were.
